Foliana is developed by Pixelit Studio. This Privacy Policy explains how the Foliana mobile application handles your information. By using Foliana, you agree to this policy.
Information We Collect
Foliana does not collect, store, or transmit any personal information itself. There is no account, no sign up, and no login. We do not ask for your name, email, location, or any other personal detail.
Your writing stays on your device
Your notes, drafts, and preferences are saved only on your device using local storage. Your writing never leaves your device, is never sent to us, and is not accessible to us or anyone else. If you uninstall the app, this information is removed.
Advertising
The free version of Foliana displays advertisements through Google AdMob, a service provided by Google. To serve ads, Google may collect and process certain information, such as a device advertising identifier, general device information, and app usage related to ads.
This data is handled by Google in accordance with its own privacy policy. You can review how Google uses this information at https://policies.google.com/privacy and learn about ad personalization controls at https://policies.google.com/technologies/ads.
Removing ads
Foliana offers a one time in app purchase that removes advertisements. The purchase is processed by Google Play, and we do not receive or store your payment details. Once ads are removed, the AdMob advertising service is no longer used in the app.
Analytics and tracking
Foliana contains no analytics of its own. We do not monitor how you use the app and we do not build any profile about you. The only third party data processing is the advertising described above, and only in the free, ad supported version.
Permissions
Foliana requires internet access for one purpose only: to load advertisements in the free version. The app’s core features, including writing, autosave, statistics, and all your notes, work fully offline. No permission is used to collect your writing or any personal information.
Children’s privacy
Foliana does not knowingly collect any personal information from children. The advertising service may collect device level data as described above. If you wish to use the app without advertising data processing, the remove ads purchase disables the advertising service.
Third party services
Foliana uses Google AdMob for advertising in the free version, and Google Play for processing the remove ads purchase. These services are operated by Google and are subject to Google’s privacy policy at https://policies.google.com/privacy. Aside from these, Foliana does not use any third party service that collects personal information.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated date at the top.
