Privacy Policy for Sorterra

Sorterra (“we”, “our”, or “the app”) is a color sorting puzzle game developed by Pixelit Studio. This privacy policy explains how information is handled when you use our app.

Information We Collect

We do not require you to create an account, and we do not ask for your name, email address, or any other personal information to use the app.

 

Your game progress, best scores, star ratings, and settings are stored locally on your device. This data never leaves your device and is not sent to us or to any server we control.

Advertising

Sorterra displays advertisements through Google AdMob, a mobile advertising service provided by Google LLC. The app shows a banner advertisement at the bottom of the game screen, and an optional rewarded video advertisement that you can choose to watch in exchange for an extra tube during gameplay. Rewarded advertisements are never forced. There are no full screen advertisements between levels.

 

Google AdMob may automatically collect and use certain information, including:

  • Advertising ID (a resettable device identifier)
  • IP address
  • Device information such as model and operating system version
  • Approximate location derived from IP address
  • Advertisement interaction data such as views and taps

This information is collected by Google, not by us. Google uses it to serve relevant advertisements and to measure advertisement performance.

 

You can opt out of personalized advertising through your device settings. On Android, open Settings, then Google, then Ads, and enable the option to opt out of ads personalization.

In App Purchases

Sorterra offers one optional purchase that removes advertisements and makes the extra tube always free. This transaction is processed entirely by Google Play. We do not receive, store, or have access to any payment information such as card numbers or billing addresses. All payment processing is handled by Google Play under the Google Payments Privacy Notice.

 

The app stores a single local flag on your device indicating whether the purchase has been made, so that advertisements stay disabled.

What We Do Not Do

  • We do not collect your name, email address, or any personal details
  • We do not require account creation or login
  • We do not access your camera, microphone, contacts, photos, or files
  • We do not track your location
  • We do not use analytics services
  • We do not sell data to third parties
  • We do not store any of your data on our own servers

Children’s Privacy

Sorterra is not directed at children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. The app displays advertisements served by Google AdMob, which may collect device identifiers as described in the Advertising section above.

Your Rights

European Union (GDPR): You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. Because Sorterra does not collect personal data directly, these rights apply primarily to data collected by Google AdMob. You can manage your advertising preferences through your device settings or through Google Ads Settings.

 

California (CCPA): You have the right to know what personal information is collected and to request its deletion, and to opt out of the sale of personal information. We do not sell personal information. For data collected by Google AdMob, you can opt out through your device’s ad personalization settings.

 

To delete all locally stored game data, use the Reset Progress option in the app’s Settings, or uninstall the app from your device.

Data Security

Data transmitted between the app and Google’s advertising services is encrypted in transit. Your local game data is stored in the app’s private storage on your device and is not accessible to other applications.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. When we do, the “Last updated” date at the top of this page will change. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
